Motorized 2-Way Zone Valve for Fan Coil Unit

This series of on/off electric valves consists of a valve actuator and a brass valve body. They are used to open or close piping in chilled‑water or hot‑water air‑conditioning systems, thereby regulating room temperature. The actuator is driven by a unidirectional hysteresis synchronous motor, with the valve spring‑returning to its default position. When not in operation, the valve remains normally closed; upon activation, a control thermostat supplies an opening signal, energizing the valve via AC power to open the valve and allow chilled or hot water to flow into the fan coil unit, providing cooling or heating as required. Once the room temperature reaches the setpoint, the thermostat de‑energizes the valve, and the return spring closes it, shutting off the water flow to the fan coil. By cycling between open and closed states, the valve ensures that the room temperature is consistently maintained within the range set by the thermostat. The actuator and valve body in this series are connected via a threaded sleeve, allowing the actuator to be installed after the valve has been mounted—facilitating on‑site assembly and flexible, convenient wiring. The actuator’s compact, flat design enables flush mounting against the wall, minimizing space requirements. The product is reliable and durable, operates quietly, and can perform reliably even in the high‑temperature environments commonly encountered in concealed fan coil units.
